Seitz:

C. notata Btlr. (26 a) is easily recognizable by the blackish-brown forewing with a diaphanous, whitish 
postmedian band extending only to the lower median vein and being tinted yellow towards the costa, with a 
yellowish spot below it and one at the costal base. Hindwing diaphanous black-brownish, towards the base whitish. 
On the blackish-brown body the palpal base, sides of the head, collar, hips, and lateral stripes on the first abdominal 
rings are orange-yellow, of the same colour is the ventral side on the first rings, which are then followed as far as
the end by sublateral stripe-like spots. Expanse of wings: 26 mm. Amazon.
